The Northern Advisory Council handles the planning and implementation of local CPHR BC & Yukon activities and is made up of members representing a broad range of HR experience levels and areas of practice.

Your Northern Advisory Council for 2019:

 

 

JudyMason

Chair – Judy Mason, CPHR

Judy is President of TranStrata Inc consulting services. She is also a sessional instructor at UNBC, Chair of the Advisory Board on Advancement at UNBC, and is Vice Chair of the MBA Alumni Chapter at UNBC. She is in her fifth year as a member of the advisory council.

Administrator & Membership – Kaitlin Bardarson, CPHR Candidate

Kaitlin is Human Resources Generalist at TDB Consultants Inc., and joins the council for the first time this year.

Awards & Symposium  – Fred Alaggia, CPHR

Fred is Executive Director, Human Resources at the College of New Caledonia. This is his second year on the council.

Cariboo Regional Advisor – Lauren Bernard, CPHR

Lauren is Human Resources Coordinator at Taseko Gibraltar Mine Ltd. and is on the council for the first time in 2019.

Marketing & Communications – Tianna Rossi

Tianna is Human Resources Administrator at Canadian Benefits, Investment, and Insurance Group. This is her first year on the advisory council.

Membership – Shawn Hegan

Shawn is a Talent Acquisition Coordinator with Canadian Forest Products. This is his second year on the council.

 

Networking – Alex Castley, CPHR

Alex is Associate Vice President, People & Strategy at Integris Credit Union. He has been on the council previously and rejoins it in 2019.

North West Regional Advisor – Sherrie Little, CPHR

Sherrie operates Bear Human Resource Services and joins the advisory council for the first time.

Peace Region Regional Advisor – Jessie Drew, CPHR

Jessie is Associate Vice President, People & Institutional Strategy at Northern Lights College. She is with her second year with the advisory council.

Post-Secondary – Mindy Gobbi, CPHR Candidate

Mindy is a Mobility & Relocation Specialist with Canadian Forest Products. This is her third year on the council.

Professional Development & CPHR – Irina Doering, CPHR

Irina is an Instructor with CNC and UNBC and is in her fourth year on the council.

Professional Development – Brittany Smith, CPHR Candidate

Brittany is Human Resources Advisor at UNBC and joins the Advisory Council for the first time this year.
