The Fraser Valley Advisory Council handles the planning and implementation of local CPHR BC & Yukon activities and is made up of members representing a broad range of HR experience levels and areas of practice.

Your Fraser Valley Advisory Council for 2019:

Mandie LaMontagne

Chair & Networking – Mandie LaMontagne, CPHR

Mandie is Partner & Co-Founder of a blended practice management advisory focused on succession and business transition. In addition to a 20+ yr, generalist-by-design career in HR, including tactical and strategic support for entrepreneurial, private and family business, she has a fierce interest in culture and communication. Mandie is an avid traveller and international marathoner.This is Mandie’s second year serving on the advisory council.

Awards  – Brenda Cliffe, CPHR

Brenda is currently the VP of HR for Corporate Couriers Logistics.  Brenda has worked for various industries and brings over 24 years of experience. This is Brenda’s sixth year serving on the advisory council.

Christine Ramage

Mentoring – Christine Ramage, CPHR

Christine Ramage is the Human Resources Manager for Primex Manufacturing Ltd, located in Langley, BC. Christine has been an active volunteer for the CPHR BC & Yukon since 2007 and has co-chaired and chaired a number of portfolios, as well as having been part of the Coastal Vancouver Advisory Council before moving to the Fraser Valley. Christine enjoys mentoring up and coming HR Professionals, and helping support the greater HR Community at large. This will be Christine’s second year on the Fraser Valley Advisory Council.

Monica Affleck

Post-Secondary – Monica Affleck, CPHR

Monica currently teaches in the HR program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University as well as the Continuing Education Program at the University of the Fraser Valley. She brings 15 years of experience in HR leadership roles in private and public sector organizations across various industries with a focus on aligning the values, passion, and purpose of the company and its people to create inspiring workplaces. This is her second year on the Fraser Valley Advisory Council.

Volunteers – Tanya Tortorella, CPHR

Tanya is currently the Manager of Human Resource & Benefits for Pro Administration Services Inc., the head office for a group of companies in the healthcare industry. Tanya has worked for various industries prior to joining the company in 2013, including manufacturing and accounting, bringing with her over 10+ years of experience. This is Tanya’s first year on the council.

Networking – Sam Khattab, CPHR
