Your Fraser Valley Advisory Council for 2020:

Christine Ramage

Chair – Christine Ramage, CPHR

Christine Ramage is the Human Resources Manager for Primex Manufacturing Ltd, located in Langley, BC. Christine has been an active volunteer for the CPHR BC & Yukon since 2007 and has co-chaired and chaired a number of portfolios, as well as having been part of the Coastal Vancouver Advisory Council before moving to the Fraser Valley. Christine enjoys mentoring up and coming HR Professionals, and helping support the greater HR Community at large. This will be Christine’s second year on the Fraser Valley Advisory Council and first year as Chair of the FV Advisory Council

Membership – Stacey Pittakidis, CPHR

With more than five years of Human Resources experience, Stacey Pittakidis has spent most of her career working for municipalities. For the past four years, she has been an Assistant HR Advisor with the Township of Langley, working in everything from recruitment to benefit administration. Stacey, who is serving her first year on the advisory council, initially became involved with the council as a membership volunteer for the past year.

Volunteers – Tanya Tortorella, CPHR

Tanya is currently the Manager of Human Resource & Benefits for Pro Administration Services Inc., the head office for a group of companies in the healthcare industry. Tanya has worked for various industries prior to joining the company in 2013, including manufacturing and accounting, bringing with her over 10+ years of experience. This is Tanya’s second year on the council.

Networking – Sam Khattab, CPHR

Sam Khattab is currently the HR Manager at Exan Software, focusing on Organizational Development & Design, and Employer Branding & Talent. Over the last 8 years, Sam’s experience spanned working for public healthcare providers & software companies in in Canada, the US, the UK and Finland. This is Sam’s first year on the advisory council.

Awards  – Pardeep Brar, CPHR

Pardeep has over ten years of work experience within the public service.  She currently holds a Human Resources management position within local government and is passionate about continuous learning and supporting those newly entering the field of Human Resources. Pardeep’s education consists of a Bachelor of Business Administration degree specializing in Human Resource Management and she is an active CPHR member.  This is her first year on the advisory council and second year supporting the Awards portfolio.

Mentoring – Niki Mascarenhas, CPHR Candidate

Niki Mascarenhas has five years of experience in HR and currently works as a Human Resources Coordinator for Cummins Western Canada. In addition to supporting operations with HR, supporting wellness programs in the workplace is her passion. Niki has worked in union and non-union companies within manufacturing, construction and health care industries. She has been a volunteer with the CPHR BC & Yukon since 2018. This is Niki’s first year on the advisory council and second year supporting the mentoring program.

Post-Secondary – Margaret Tam, CPHR

Margaret is the Executive Director of Human Resources at Trinity Western University overseeing the University-wide Human Resources function. She develops and implements policies and programs that advance the University’s mission through an engaging and high performing people culture. Margaret has over 16 years of leadership experience and is passionate about transformative change management. She is a life-long learner and she holds Master of Business Administration, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Commerce degrees. She is a certified Project Management Professional and PROSCI change agent. This is her first year on the advisory council.
