Your Coastal Vancouver Advisory Council for 2021:


Chair/Networking – Lorelei Russell, CPHR

Lorelei Russell is the Director, People Services with Vancouver School District 39 where she focuses on Compensation and Benefits, Employee Wellness and PeopleSoft HCM.  She has a Bachelor of General Studies degree from Thompson Rivers University with a focus on business and human resources.  She also has a Human Resources Management Certificate from BCIT.  Lorelei’s background includes owning a small construction company for ten years, working as an HR generalist and payroll administrator in the manufacturing industry for eight years and as a self-employed Human Resources Consultant for five years for small businesses without their own in-house HR.  This will be her third year on council and her first year as chair.

Membership – Vivienne Ho

Vivienne Ho is an HR professional, in the Technology Sector, whose primary experience is in Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and has completed additional studies at BCIT’s Human Resource Management Program, where she received the Faculty Achievement Award of the year. Vivienne is passionate about building and engaging with communities and has actively participated as a speaker at BCIT’s HR panels and events. She looks forward to merging her experience and passion to lead the membership portfolio in her first year on the council.

Volunteering – Isabelle Godsy, CPHR

Isabelle is a Human Resources and Organization Development Consultant with over 20 years of HR experience which includes various roles held at BC Hydro and Accenture. Isabelle also has over 20 years of volunteer management and program development experience with not-for-profit organizations including UNICEF BC and Dress for Success Vancouver. Isabelle holds a B.A. in Communications and Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Human Resources from Royal Roads University, and a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies from Royal Roads University focused in Organization Design and Development. This will be Isabelle’s third year on the advisory council supporting the volunteering portfolio.
