Mentoring
The Professional Mentoring Program (PMP) makes it easy to connect mentors and protégés from all over BC & Yukon to make meaningful mentoring relationships.
The PMP fosters professional development and meaningful career growth. Whether you are a newcomer to the field of HR, a mid-level practitioner, or a senior-level HR professional, the PMP can support you to expand, refine, and build new skills.
You will gain access to the MentorCity platform, which will elevate your experience, provide a mentoring journey with greater autonomy and transparency for participants, and facilitate a smoother and more seamless experience for mentors and mentees.
To learn more about the role & responsibilities of a mentor and protégé, or to discover some of the new features for our program, please read our Professional Mentoring Program Information & FAQ Guide.

HR Spotlight: Celebrate Excellence and Your Mentoring Journey
One of the most rewarding aspects of the mentoring journey is seeing the impact people have on those around them. Whether it’s a mentor who leads with strength and empathy, a protégé who has grown through challenges and achieved something remarkable, or a colleague who has brought fresh thinking to a longstanding problem, their story deserves to be celebrated.
Think of someone who has done something incredible over the past three years. Someone who turned a challenge into an opportunity, inspired others through their leadership, or made a meaningful difference in their workplace or community. This is your chance to shine a light on them and their story.
The CPHR BC & Yukon HR Spotlight program recognizes outstanding HR professionals who are making an impact across the profession. Nominations are simple, there is no fee to submit, and self-nominations are welcome. Selected honourees will be featured across CPHR BC & Yukon platforms, celebrated at the Annual Member Recognition Gala, and recognized as part of a growing circle of HR Spotlight recipients.
- Nominations close September 22, 2026
- Learn more and submit a nomination through the HR Spotlight program page.
