Jackie Connelly, BFA, CPHR (pronouns: she/her) is a white, straight, cisgendered woman who was born in Canada with Irish and Scottish descent. She is a daughter, sister, aunt and wife and identifies as neurodivergent and lives with a hidden disability acquired later in life. Values of belonging, authenticity, and integrity guide her, as well as the motto: “life is too short to wait” (AKA do the thing you’ve been thinking about!).
Jackie is a Professional Coach and Founder of Coaching That Belongs, a coaching and consulting firm that focuses on creating space for clients to find their joy and belonging in their careers, their leadership, and their lives. She ongoingly creates opportunities to reduce the financial barrier to experiencing coaching and works with many clients who identify as neurodivergent.
Jackie has over a decade of work experience in Human Resources supporting and coaching leaders, teams and individual employees with a focus on employee engagement, organizational development, equity, diversity and inclusion, and accessibility. She has volunteered her time through mentorship, networking, speaking and facilitation over the past decade for a variety of associations with a large focus on supporting those who identify as women.
Jackie is a member and a certified HR professional through Chartered Professional of Human Resources (CPHR) and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of British Columbia, a Post Degree Diploma in HR Management and Leadership from Camosun College, and nearing completion of University of British Columbia’s Certificate in Organizational Coaching (December 2024).
