Aliya Virani is an employment lawyer and the founder of Verist Legal, where she advises employers, from startups to public companies, on employment law across Canada and the US. About a third of her career has been in-house, at lululemon (NASDAQ: LULU) and Paladin Security Group Ltd., a multi-entity union and non-union workforce of 30,000+ across multiple provinces. She practised on the management side at BLG and, before that, managed a litigation practice representing employees, so she knows how to resolve employment issues from every lens.
