I am a lawyer, mediator and investigator, with a practice focused on workplace law in both union and non-union settings. Before practicing law, I was Labour Relations Advisor to Vancouver Community College and a HR Manager at UBC. I provide employers with timely, effective, and practical advice on workplace matters; draft employment contracts, policies, and handbooks; mediate workplace disputes; conduct complex investigations; and coach and train all levels of staff. I also provide general human resources support to businesses. In addition to a law degree, I have a MSc in Human Resources Management & Training and hold CPHR and SHRM-SCP designations. I also hold a QMed designation with the ADR Institute of Canada. I am a frequent speaker at conferences and offer workshops on a wide range of topics for employers, senior leaders, HR professionals, managers, and staff.
