I am a lawyer, mediator and investigator, with a practice focused on workplace law in both union and non-union settings. Before practicing law, I was Labour Relations Advisor to Vancouver Community College and a HR Manager at UBC. I provide employers with timely, effective, and practical, labour and employment advice; mediate workplace disputes; conduct complex investigations; coach and train all levels of staff. I also provide general human resources support to businesses. In addition to a law degree, I have a MSc in Human Resources Management & Training and hold CPHR and SHRM-SCP designations. I am a frequent speaker at conferences and offer workshops on a wide range of topics for senior leadership, HR professionals, managers, and staff.
